Benefits of using FGS
---------------------
1.Sorting by batch, to encourage the use of older stock first.
2.No retrictions on the number of items held in one location.
3.Picking list items sorted to avoid lost time, and allow the picker to collect
  all goods in one pass.
4.The abilty to quarantine faulty items. This option can also be used to prevent the picking
of old stock items during a product change over.
5.Ease of use, the training time required to be able to use this application is minimal.

History
-------
FGS was originally designed to control a finished goods random storage picking warehouse,
but is versatile enough to be used for any storage application (raw materials, parts stores) etc.

All Version 1 releases were for test purposes and evaluation only.
Version 2 is the final unrestricted application.

FGS V1 +
--------
FGS V1.0 beta : Initial test Program.
FGS V1.0.a : Quarantine facility added, Amend option added, Layout Change.
FGS V1.0.b : Screen Updates improved, Issue all stock option added, Layout Change,
and annoying message boxes removed from Quarantine routine.
FGS V1.0.c : Layout Change, Headings added to printouts, Password Protection and lockout added,
End of Day Report of all transactions added. Exit button Backup Reminder added.

FGS Version 2
-------------
Although V2 has the same look and feel as V1, the program code has had a virtual re-write.
V1 saved all the stock information into one file. This was ok as V1 was basically a test program,
but would obviously be a restriction in the final release as the program could slow down as
the file size increased. V2 creates a file for each stock item.
Backup of the system is now done automatically on exiting the program.

Future updates
--------------
FGS is the subject of continuous improvement, registered users will receive free updates
as they occur. The author reserves the right to implement changes as are seen fit.
As all future updates will be backward compatible with older versions of FGSV2 the customer
can choose to update or revert back to an older version should they require to do so.
In that respect, your current version of FGSV2 will never be out of date.

Uninstalling The Application
----------------------------
In the usual manner, go to Control Panel and use the add/remove option.
During this Uninstall procedure you will be told that not all files
could be removed. These files will be the stock files and folders created during use.
To remove these, go to My Computer, Program Files and delete the folder
FGSV2 manually.
