Alright lets take a quick tour of GTimeX2 and the components that make-up this remarkable must have utility.

GTimeX2 is made up of following components:

1. GTimeX2 DISPLAY BAR

This is the main stand-alone display component of GTimeX2. It displays upto 20 cities in a horizontal bar. Each citiy in the DISPLAY BAR can display 3 things; (1) name of city/country/city code, (2) current time of the city, and (3) date in the current city.

2. GTimeX2 CITY DATABASE

This is the heart of GTimeX2. This is where you select the cities that you want to display from a list of nearly 8000 cities included in the Master Database of GTimeX2. You can also add your own cities to the Personal Database if they are not included in the Master Database. You can modify settings for each city like the name of the city, country, GMT offset, daylight savings, city code.
You can also use the FIND utility to find/search for cities. You can also use ALARM facility to set reminders for each one of your 20 cities !!


3. GTimeX2 PREFERENCES

This is where you control how cities are displayed in the DISPLAY BAR. In the PREFERENCES you can change way time is displayed, date is displayed, city is displayed i.e. display formats.
Also you can calibrate your system clock with Time Servers around the world. This facility called NET-TIME gets accurate time from around the World and updates your system time. You need an internet connection to use this facility.


GTimeX2 - IE Client:

This is a great extension to GTimeX2 for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or above. You have the same interface as the GTimeX2 DISPLAY BAR right in side your browser. So now you dont have to constantly move the DISPLAY BAR to check the times from around the world, while you are surfing the Net.
