Folder Organizer holds fully editable and easily accessible lists of your favourite folders and thus greatly simplifies working with folders and helps you to finish your job far more quickly.
The application's main menu is accessible from System Tray, and opens any of your working folders with just one mouse click. The menu is hierarchically ordered and can be customized to best suite your needs. The appeareance of the main menu can be fully customized.
With Folder Organizer you can generate comprehensive folder reports from Windows shell and save them in HTML, CSV and TXT file formats. Just right-click a folder or a drive in Windows Explorer, or any other shell dialog, and select Folder Report item from the context menu. Folder report can hold a variety of data, such as files' and folders' name, DOS name, type, size, date when they were last modified, date when they were created, date when they were last accessed and their full path. You can select the data you want to see in the report. 
With Folder Organizer you can copy the complete address of any file, folder or drive from Windows shell to the Clipboard. To do this just right-click file, folder or drive in Windows Explorer, or any other shell dialog, and select Copy Address item from the context menu. Before coping all network aliases will be transformed in the complete network names, e.g. X: in //remote_server, Y: in //remote_server02/share, Z: in //remote_file_archive/my_files/shell, etc.
Personal group is an integral part of the Folder Organizer's main menu. This group contains your own folder shortcuts. When the application first starts up the group will contain up to 25 shortcuts to the most recently used folders.
System Folders group is a part of the Folder Organizer's main menu. This group is automatically generated and it contains over 40 relevant Windows system folders. The shortcuts in this group are arranged in 3 subgroups (All Users, Personal, Windows). The group can be hidden or deleted.
Drives group is a part of the Folder Organizer's main menu. This group is automatically generated with shortcuts to all local and network drives, CD-ROMs, DVDs, Floppy or Removable Drives you have. The group can be hidden or deleted. By right-clicking a CD-ROM or DVD in Drives group you can open that CD-ROM or DVD drive. After the device's tray opens the main menu will close.
Folder Organizer provides up to 10 keyboard shortcuts ("hot keys") so you can immediately open any folder. Keyboard shortcuts, or Hot keys, are combinations of SHIFT and CTRL (CONTROL) keys and a number from 0 to 9.
If you choose so, by customizing application's settings, Folder Organizer can automatically create and refresh 3 directories on your Desktop, in Send To menu and Favorites. These directories will have the same folder shortcuts as the Folder Organizer's main menu in the System Tray. The advantages of having this directory on the Desktop is that you can access your favorite folders from any 'Open Folder' shell dialog in other applications.
Organize Folders window allows you to manage and manipulate (open, create, change, delete, assign hot keys, batch delete all shortcuts with invalid folders, etc.) all your folder shortcuts. This window can be opened from the Folder Organizer's main menu and the Start Menu (Start > Programs > Folder Organizer > Organize Folders).
The easiest way to open a folder from Organize Folders window is to double-click a folder shortcut. This will open a new instance of the Windows Explorer in the folder the shortcut points to. You can also open a folder selecting a shortcut and pushing CTRL+E or Open button in the toolbar. You can to the same by right-clicking a folder shortcut and select Open... in Context menu, or in Tools menu.
To make a new folder shortcut right-click a folder or a drive in Windows shell and select 'Organize Folder' or 'Organize Drive' in the context menu. You can also drag-and-drop a folder or a drive from the Windows shell to the Organize Folders window, in a particular group you select.
Organize Folders window has a familiar and standard appereance and thus it's easy to use. The left window's pane is a tree-like view which displays the hierarchical structure of your folder shortcuts. The left pane can show all groups and shortcuts, or just groups, depending on how you customize it's appereance in the View menu. The right window's pane is a list with contents of the group that is selected in the left pane. The appearance of the right pane can also be customized with the options in the View menu.
The appearance of toolbar in Organize Folder window can be customized by right-clicking it or by customizing feautures in View > Toolbar menu group.
With Options dialog you can customize your installation of Folder Organizer software. This dialog can be opened from the application's main menu and Organize Folders window (File > Options).
