Address Book and Send Book Descriptions

The "Address Book" (Figure 1) and the "Send Book" (Figure 2) are places where you may keep aliases or nicknames for frequently used e-mail addresses and host addresses, respectively. They may be accessed with e-mailing or sending a stickum by clicking on the down arrow of the "To:" textbox and selecting "* View Address Book *" or "* View Send Book *".

Working with the Alias Books

Adding An Alias

You may add a new alias by clicking the "Add" button. The new alias name will be highlighted. Type in the name you wish to call it. Then under "Address(es)" type in the address(es) of the recipient(s). Separate multiple recipients with commas or returns (preferred). Click "OK" to save.

Deleting An Alias

You may delete an alias by clicking the "Delete" button while the target alias is highlighted. Click "OK" to save.

Selecting An Alias

You may select an alias by clicking the "Select" button while the target alias is highlighted. The window will close, and the alias will appear in the "To:" textbox.

Changing An Alias Name

You may change an alias name by clicking on the alias and letting the mouse "hover" over it for a few seconds. You should then be able to edit it. Afterward, click "OK" to save.

Adding An Alias with A Port Option (Send Book)

If the computer you are sending a stickum to is listening to a different port than the default, you will have to specify a port. In this case follow the IP address or host name with an "@port". For example, if you are sending a stickum to the localhost at port 451, then the address would be localhost@451.
