Kua number and Other Things
What is kua number :
The kua number is a number calculated on the basis of the year in which you were born. It is also known as central number or personal number. Kua number is the first step in taking the services of Feng shui to harmonize your life.
How kua number is calculated :
Well, it is very easy. First, take the last two digits of your birth year. If your birth year is 1981 then take 81, if it is 2000 then take 00. Now start Feng shui - chi Finder. Enter the last two digits of your birth year, select your sex and press 'GO'. You will see everything, you ever wanted to know.
Kua group and elements : Each person has a kua group and a kua or feng shui element. These groups and elements tell the true nature of that person. There are nine groups,
1. KAN
2. KUN
3. CHEN
4. SUN
5. CHIEN
6. TUI
7. KEN
8. LI
And there are five elements,
1. Fire
2. Earth
3. Water
4. Metal
5. Wood
Shen Ch'i : Sheng Ch'i is the best and luckiest direction for a person, as per calculated by feng shui theory. This is same direction as the direction for success for a person. But some feng shui experts take direction for health as the sheng ch'i. We take the success direction as the sheng ch'i in our software.
Bad and Good Directions : There are always eights directions for every person. Four of these, are good while four are bad. These directions are plotted on a Pa-Kua map. Pa-Kua is a map that shows your all directions on a diagram. A trigram is a diagram to find out quickly your sheng ch'i. A typical trigram map is shown below,
Suppose you have a kua group CHEN, then this trigram becomes useful to find out everything else. But we have these all things in-built in our software, so no need.
All the directions have their chinese names, but for simplicity we have translated them into English. These are,

Chinese years : There are 12 chinese years. A person born in one chinese year has some special characteristics depending on his/her chinese year. These chinese years are also called feng shui signs. These are,

7. Snake
8. Horse
9. Rooster
10. Monkey
11. Dog
12. Pig
Depending on your chinese year or sign, you can look for your perfect partner's sign. These are,

Lucky objects and seasons : These are objects which when placed in your environment ( around you ), then they attract good ch'i towards you and your home.
Lucky season is the season for a person in which good things happen for that person. To start a job, choose them.
