1. How to donate a few bucks for MSPlotter.

2. How to plot images.

   First: run the program and press the "Plot" button. A picture will be 
          created in the center of the screen. 

           note: the center of the picture (only where it is black) is all 
		 a member of the Mandelbrot set. Everything on the outside
  		 of the black hole is not a member. Right near the edge of
                 the black hole is where all the cool pictures are (and
                 where you want to click).

   Second: move your mouse to the center of the picture and click the very 
	   edge of the black with the left mouse button.

           note: while you are moving your mouse over the picture you will
		 see the X and Y coordinates displayed just above the 
		 picture. When you click the left mouse button those 
                 coordinates will be copied to the Center X and Center Y 
                 edit boxes. (At a Range of 4, the values must be greater 
 		 than -2 and smaller than 2. Otherwise you will only see
		 black. Also, if you are new to the program I would advise 
                 only using the mouse to enter coordinates)

   Third: change the range to 0.4 and press the "Plot" button again. You 
 	  now see a closer view of where you clicked. 
 	  Now just click again where you want to go and change the range to
	  a smaller value. When you find a picture you like, press the 
          "Save Picture" button. You may also save the coordinates.

          note: if you want a different size picture, click the Options'
                menu, then 'Larger Image'. This will allow you to make
                the image smaller or bigger.

 2.1 How to change the image size.
     
     Method 1: Go to 'Options' then click 'Larger Image'.
               Now go to 'Image' and click 'Image Info'.
               Enter the desired width and height.

     Method 2: Go to 'Options' then click 'Larger Image'.
               Use your mouse to resize the image form.
            
3. The "More Detail" option.

   This option may not appear to do much but it does.
   Go to these coordinates:   CenterX: 0.01358355668712111666
			      CenterY: 0.6556266882467776246
 			      Range: 0.0000000000000004
                              Power of Equation: 2

                              Hint: you can copy and paste these.		    

   Now, after you press the 'Plot' button you will see a black hole 
   in the center. Check the 'More Detail' box and press 'Plot' again.
   Now all the black holes are filled in and you can get closer. You
   can set the number of iterations (the value of 'More Detail') in 
   the settings window. Go to the 'Equation Info.' tab and find
   where it says 'More Detail Value:' and change that number.
   (The bigger the value of 'More Detail' the longer the
    rendering process will take).

4. Equations that this version uses.

   -Mandelbrot Set: Z = Z^2 + C
   -Julia Set.
     Both sets have a deform width and height equation.

5. How to make an AVI file with MSPlotter pictures.

   Step 1:  Click 'Create Images for AVI...' in the 'Options' menu.
            Specify all your settings (size of the picture,
            start range, end range, how many pictures you want, etc.)
            and click the 'Start' button. The pictures will be saved
            to the path in the file prefix edit box.

     note: if rendering time is taking too long and you need to close the 
	 program, just click the "Stop" button and right-click the mouse
	 over the window and a popup menu will show up. Left-click where
	 it says "Save AVI Info.". When you are ready to continue rendering
	 follow the same steps for saving only left-click "Load Avi Info.".
	 Now just press the "Start" button and the program will continue 
	 where you left off.

   Step 2:  After your images are generated, click 'Return to Main'
            in the 'Options' menu. Then click on 'Create an AVI
            from Images...' in the 'Options' menu. Now click 
            'Add Image Files...'.
            Now, scroll over to the last image file that will be
            added at this time and select it. Then scroll back
            to the first image file that will be added. While
            you are holding down the 'Shift' key, select the
            first image file. Now all of the images, from first to
            last, will be selected. Click 'Open'. It will take
            a few seconds to load the images if there are many of
            them. If you would like to add more images, just repeat
            this step.

   Step 3:  Now you can include an audio file, specify the fram rate,
            AVI dimensions, and click 'Compile Images'.


 5.1 Panning

     The pan value (in the settings window 'Equation Info.' tab) is how
     many pictures will be plotted before reaching the destination. This
     creates a smooth movement to a different set of coordinates.
     
     WARNING: if the pan value is to high, then the last image in the pan
              process will most likely be one color. The reason for this
	      is by the time the last pan gets through you have past the
	      the endpoint you saw when you clicked on the image
              (in other words you ran into a wall).

 5.2 How to create a path file.

     Run MSPlotter.exe. Go to the 'Options' menu and click 'Create
     Path for AVI Image Maker'. Now enter coordinates
     for path #1. Enter the number of images you want the program
     to render before moving on to the next path. Now enter the 'Pan
     number' (this is how many images it will take to pan from path #1
     to path #2). Now press the 'New Path' button and repeat. When you
     are finished entering paths press the 'Save All' button. This will
     save the file to the name in the 'File Location' edit box.

     note: there is an example path file in the same directory
           where MSPlotter.exe is installed. Press the 'Load
           Path File' button and load this file.

 5.3 How to load a path file into the AVI Image maker.

     Click on the 'AVI Image Maker' button in the 'Options' menu.
     Left-click the 'Path File' button. After the path file has
     been loaded press the "Start" button.

     note: there is an example path file in the same directory
           where MSPlotter.exe is installed. Load this file and
           change the image size to about 60 x 60 (see: How to change
           the image size). Now right-click on the AVI window and go
           to "Rendering Options->". Left-click the "Save Processed
           Images" menu item so that it is unchecked (this won't save
           any files to the hard drive). Now press the start button.

6. How to save coordinates and program configurations.

   Coordinates: Method 1.
		   Right-click the mouse button and left-click where it
		   says 'Save Coords'. Follow the same steps for loading
		   coordinates except click where it says 'Load Coords'.


		Method 2.
		   go to the main window and open the settings menu. Then 
		   go to the 'Miscellaneous' tab and make sure the 
		   'Save range and coordinates on exit' check box is checked. 
		   As soon as the program exits, the coordinates will be saved
		   to a file called 'Coords.mlp' in the same directory as the 
                   program. The next time the program is run the coordinates
		   will automatically be loaded.

   Configurations: go to the main window and open the settings menu. Then
		   after making changes, click on the 'Save Changes' button. 
		   A file is created called 'Settings.mlp'. Every option in
		   the settings menu is saved.

7. How to choose which set to render (Mandelbrot or Julia).

   Mandelbrot Set: Go to 'Options' then 'Choose Set' then 'Mandelbrot Set'.
                   Now you can choose from a list of predefined coordinates
                   or use your own. This is the default set used when the
                   program is executed.

   Julia Set: Go to 'Options' then 'Choose Set' then 'Julia Set'.
              Now you can choose from a list of predefined coordinates
              or use your own.

              note: the julia x and y coordinates are x and y coordinates
                    from the Mandelbrot set. To find a Julia set, simply
                    find a location you like in the Mandelbrot set and
                    copy the Center X and Center Y values into the
                    Julia X and Julia Y values. Make sure the power
                    of equations are the same.

   note: set files can be exported and imported.

8. Miscellaneous.
