Type in an URL and press Enter to download the
page and clear the textbox for another entry, or tab to the
OK
button, then press Enter to download the URL and close this form.
You can continue to submit URLs until you close this form by
pressing Enter while the textbox is empty, or clicking
OK. Click Cancel
or press
Esc if you
want to close the form without submitting the URL currently in the textbox,
if any. Note, however, that URLs are downloaded after each submitted entry.
Canceling only unloads the form without submitting the URL currently in the
textbox.
Press F4 to clear the textbox.
Tip: If you are going to a .com site, just type
in the name. If there are no periods in the typed text, then http://www. will be prefixed and
.com/ will be suffixed to complete the URL. Thus, to go to
http://www.example.com/, just type
example, then press Enter or click
OK. Even if you are going to a site with a different
extension, such as .net or .org, there is never any need to type
the http://www. prefix. Thus, to go to
http://www.example.net, just type
example.net. To go to
http://www.WebSpeedReader.com/WhatsNew.htm, just type webspeedreader.com/whatsnew.htm.
Note in the latter example that case doesn't matter, so save yourself the
inconvenience of pressing the Shift key. Capitalization
is often used to delimit the different parts of the URL into words for easier
recognition, because spaces are not allowed in URLs, but the URL is
case-insensitive. This same tip applies equally to the main address box in
WebSpeedReader.
Enter the group name in the above textbox, then click OK
to save, or Cancel to cancel.
You can list all groups in the sidebar by clicking the G tab at the top of the
sidebar or selecting
Favorites
► Groups► List Groups in Sidebar. Groups will also
be displayed in the
Favorites
► Groups submenu. Simply load the
group by clicking it. Groups are saved as a special folder in
Favorites—!wsr\Groups. Therefore, you can rename either the group or the
individual URLs in each group, delete the group or individual URLs in the group,
move them around, or add to them by selecting
Favorites
► Organize Favorites or
Favorites
► Add to Favorites |
Shift+F6. You can
also look at only the groups by entering "\Groups\" in the filter box at the top
of the Organize Favorites form.
