    What does the Network Diary do ?

    Acute Softwares Network Diary allows multiple users to keep appointments and share information between Windows machines. Includes reminders, Meeting Planner, Timesheet summary and basic messaging

    Give important events a remind time and you will be reminded to do them whether or not the diary is running.

    It also automatically records what you spend your time doing at the PC without you having to type in a single word.

    What Hardware and OS does it run on ?

    The system requirements are the same for both the server and the clients
    Operating System = Windows 95 / 98 / ME / NT / 2000
    Processor = Pentium 75 min. , P166 recommended
    Memory = 16M minimum, 32M recommended
    Disk Space : Server = 2M + data ( 1M per user each year)
    Client = 2M + local data [ 1M per year ]


    For smaller installations of 5 or less clients, the server can be run on one of the client machines. In this case the machine which runs the server and is used normally needs to be at least a Pentium 233MHz, otherwise the server can run happily on a P100

    How do I work out how much it will cost for my business ?

    The pricing for the Network Diary is based on the number of clients that will access it.

    The basic premise is that it costs $50 US per client, but there are some bundled discounts.
    For example, to start with, you get the server + 5 clients for only $240 - this is the minimum purchase for this product.

    So, if you wanted 6 user license, you'd get the 5 user pack + 1 client license = $290 You can also get a site license ( $990 US or $350 US for educational institutions)
