Then, let's see the structure of Cipher HP Wizard roughly.
The following figure shows the processing flow at the time of performing Cipher HP Wizard.

(1)First, a project name is decided. The project name is for memorizing the information about an encipherment homepage in the unit of a project. Since the contents once set up with this wizard are memorized as a project, it becomes unnecessary to carry out the same input after the 2nd times. (2)Next, a HTML file to encipher is specified. Please create all files to encipher in the same folder. Moreover, an unrelated file must not place into that folder. Moreover, when you specify HTML file in this step, it turns into a displayed HTML page when it decrypts. The folder which creates encipherment data is also specified. All the enciphered files are put on this folder. (3)Two passwords used by the double key encipherment system are needed. Whichever passwords differ, the completely different encipherment result is brought. Two passwords cannot be replaced. Please distinguish strictly. If the project name is decided, a password will be memorized automatically and will be displayed at the time of the encryption after the 2nd times. (4)A homepage will be uploaded and registered by FTP to the FTP server for upload. Please check the "FTP server name", "ID for upload", "password for upload", and "directory name for upload",and etc. which were notified by your FTP server administrator for HP. In inputting these setup, it uploads by making FTP connection automatically. Moreover, In the case that you want to upload a homepage by another method, please end this wizard here and upload manually. That is, please upload all the files in the folder which stored the encipherment file according to your upload method. (5)Encipherment data and HTML file for entrances are actually uploaded to FTP site.

About an encipherment system

I have already exhibited the file encipherment software of the name of "CipherDataManager", and have obtained popularity from the user. This software mounts completely original algorithm " double key encipherment system" , and is the entire original architecture. This wizard mounts the "double key encryption system" with this actual result. I want to explain simply about a double key encryption system.

The 1st keyword is set up in order to change the "encipherment system" itself.
The determined encipherment system performs actual encipherment by calculating "the contents of a file to encipher", and the 2nd keyword.
The double key encipherment system has realized firm security, as shown below.

@Since the combination of two passwords occurs, as compared with the conventional password system, it is strong to the Bluto force attack (dictionary attack).
@By changing the 1st password, since the combination of operation changes each time, the analysis of a code file is very difficult.

Moreover, it is original and the operation system used for encipherment is not necessarily based on the famous entire standard of DES or RSA. It is like the operation used for encipherment operation being the following in general.

@Four fundamental processes of arithmetic (+, -, /, * )
@AND/OR/XOR Logic operation
@BitShift (and rotate, and bit swap)


Combination of such simple operation is carried out based on "the 1st keyword", and is generated.In spite of the combination of simple operation, it is designed so that an encipherment pattern may spread innumerably by the 1st keyword.

In addition, the extensions of the encipherment file created by double key encryption system are *.CIF and *.CI2.
But, in this software, these extensions are changed to *.CI2.JPG now. because of some FTP server does not allow to upload files of unknown extensions.

What is performed by the homepage used as an entrance?

The encipherment homepage created by this wizard changes an extension to *.CI2 from *.htm or *.html. This is because the contents are already enciphered and a browser cannot be displayed in a form as it is. Therefore, an encryption homepage cannot be displayed on a direct browser and displayed from another page which surely serves as an "entrance."

In the process of encryption, this wizard also creates a this "entrance" page.

On an entrance page, ActiveX technology is used and a program is started. This program is a name of Cipher HP Viewer, and is one independent program. Work of Cipher HP Viewer is performing the following processings.

@A user's password input is received and memorized.
@The files of an encryption homepage is downloaded to the work area of a personal computer.
（ As for the Win95, The directory is C:¥windows¥temp¥Cifwk by default.）
@The data of an encryption homepage is decrypted in the work area of a personal computer.
@The data of an encryption homepage is decrypted in the work area of a personal computer. Then it is displayed.
@A work area and the files in it are deleted.

If you inputs the wrong password, what does it become?

A viewer only decrypts and displays an encryption homepage with an input password. When the password is wrong, there is no error message. Incomprehensible broken contents are only merely displayed.
