1. < License Agreement >

The SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold.
GRANT OF LICENSE.

This Browser Commander End-User License Agreement 
("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and 
Lifestyle Software. 

UNREGISTERED COPY:  Browser Commander (referred to as 
the SOFTWARE from now on) in its unregistered 
(evaluation) form may be freely distributed. If you are 
using the SOFTWARE on an evaluation basis you may make 
copies of the evaluation SOFTWARE as you wish; give 
exact copies of the original evaluation SOFTWARE to 
anyone; and distribute the evaluation SOFTWARE in its 
unmodified form via electronic means (Internet, BBS's, 
Shareware distribution libraries, CD-ROMs, etc.). 
You may not charge any fee for the copy or use of the 
evaluation SOFTWARE itself, but you may charge a 
distribution fee that is reasonably related to any cost 
you incur distributing the evaluation SOFTWARE 
(e.g. packaging). You must distribute a copy of this 
EULA with any copy of the SOFTWARE and anyone to whom 
you distribute the SOFTWARE is subject to this EULA.

REGISTERED COPY:  After you have purchased the license 
for the SOFTWARE, and have received the Key enabling the 
registered copy, you are licensed to copy the SOFTWARE 
only into the memory of the number of computers 
corresponding to the number of licenses purchased.

RESTRICTIONS:  You may not reverse engineer, de-compile, 
or disassemble the SOFTWARE.


2. < Main Features >

Browser Commander make the use of your Browser's build 
in Navigation/Standard toolbar and Location/Address bar 
obsolete. This allows for a much larger view area. 
Browser Commander also feature the following enhanced 
controls: Scroll Up; Scroll Down; Page Up and Page Down. 
By right-clicking on Scroll Down it will Auto Scroll the 
web page. The speed of Auto Scrolling is adjustable in 
the Browser Commander Options dialog box. Another nice 
feature of this program is the intelligent selection 
used in its address bar. Once Browser Commander pops up, 
you do not have to click on its address bar. Just go 
ahead and start typing the part of the address after the 
www. and press enter. Note that www. will not be 
selected and you can go ahead and type in the next 
address without clicking in the address bar.


3. < Installation >

Double click on Setup and follow the instructions.
If you receive the following message: "Setup can not 
continue because some system files are out of date on 
your system. Click on Ok if you would like setup to 
update these files for you now. You will need to restart 
Windows before you can run setup again.

If the above message appear, make sure to click on Ok to 
let setup update your system files. After the computer 
restarted, double click on setup again to continue with 
the Browser Commander installation process.

Once installation completed, restart the computer. 
Browser Commander will be activated from the shortcut 
in the StartUp Program Group and run in the background.


4. < Disable Browser Toolbars >

Start Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. The next 
step is to hide the your Browsers Navigation Bar and 
Address Bar.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x
To disable the Navigation and Address bar of your 
browser, click on the View | Toolbar menu item.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x and 6.x
To disable the Standard Buttons Toolbar and Address Bar 
of your browser, click on the View | Toolbars | Standard 
Buttons menu item and on the View | Toolbars | Address 
Bar menu item.

Netscape Navigator 3.x
To disable the Navigation Toolbar and Location Toolbar 
of your browser, click on the Options | Show Toolbar 
menu item and on the Options | Show Location menu item. 
(You can also hide the Directory Buttons Toolbar by 
clicking on the Options | Show Directory Buttons menu 
item.) 

Netscape Navigator 4.x / Communicator 4.x 
To disable the Navigation Toolbar and Location Toolbar 
of your browser, click on the View | Hide Navigation 
Toolbar menu item and on the View | Hide Location 
Toolbar menu item.

or

Click on the View | Show | Navigation Toolbar menu item 
and on the View | Show | Location Toolbar menu item.


5. < Using Browser Commander >

Make sure that Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator 
is the active window. Move with the mouse pointer to the 
top edge of the screen. Browser Commander will display 
and autohide again as soon as the mouse leave the 
Browser Commander window area. (Note that Browser 
Commander will not display if Internet Explorer or 
Netscape Navigator is not the active window).

IMPORTANT (TO ENSURE CORRECT OPERATION OF BROWSER Commander)
After moving with the mouse to the top of the screen, 
click on the Browser Commander Options button. Select 
the correct version of Internet Explorer and/or Netscape 
Navigator you are currently using and click on Ok. If 
you should upgrade your browser in the future, be sure 
to again select the right version of your browser in 
this options dialog box and click on Ok. (Some of the 
versions use generic commands and might be fully or 
partly compatible with certain version settings in Browser
Commander)

Once setup correctly, Browser Commander can control 
multiple instances (windows) of Netscape Navigator and 
Internet Explorer running on the same PC.


6. < Registering Browser Commander >

Visit http://www.lifestylesoftware.co.za and go to the
Browser Commander product page for more information on how 
to register your copy of Browser Commander.

7. < How To Unload Browser Commander From Memory >

Before you install any programs or uninstall Browser 
Commander, you need to unload Browser Commander from 
memory by clicking on Options | Display | Unload Program.


8. < How To Uninstall / Re-install Browser Commander >

Before you re-install Browser Commander it must first 
be uninstalled. Exit Browser Commander before 
uninstalling. Refer to "How To Unload Browser Commander 
From Memory." After Browser Commander is unloaded from 
memory, click on My Computer | Control Panel | 
Add/Remove Programs and click on Browser Commander in 
the list of programs. Click on the Add/Remove button and 
follow the instructions.
